Welcome to the May praXis e-bulletin. It’s election fever this month, and in case you are still undecided which box you will tick on 6th May, we have provided you with a handy guide to both Arts and Health policies, issues and debate from the main political parties. In this issue we also highlight the Foundation for Community Dance and their work in promoting the health benefits of participating in dance and movement; there is an invitation for all praXis members to celebrate arts and health in Warwickshire; and news of an exhibition by young people accessing the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Opportunities to showcase work and even apply for a PhD in Arts and Health are still available - but you’ll have to be quick! It is also your last chance to complete a questionnaire to help us develop a series of arts & health training and events in Warwickshire.

Lastly don’t forget to complete our short on-line questionnaire, which will assist us with future planning and direction. This will only take ten minutes and will give us invaluable feedback. Just click here to take the survey and many thanks for your support.
The praXis programme is being managed by Creative Health (Arts & Health) CIC, the new independent Arts and Health Community Interest Company for the West Midlands. You can read more about Creative Health here.
We do hope you enjoy reading this e-bulletin and as ever, welcome your comments.
Best wishes

Arts and Health Training Needs
Last chance to participate!
praXis is working with Warwickshire County Arts Service to develop a programme of training workshops for artists and healthcare workers living and working in Warwickshire interested in developing their knowledge and understanding of participatory Arts and Health work.
In order to plan the programme and understand specific needs, praXis has produced an on-line questionnaire. If you are an artist or healthcare worker from Warwickshire, please spare 5 minutes of your time to complete the survey and contribute to this valuable piece of work. The questionnaire will be closed on 10th May, so this is your last chance to get your views across!
