Welcome to the June
praXis e-bulletin. Post election, we bring you the key Cabinet and Ministerial appointments within the coalition Government, as well as reporting back from a couple of major events. This month we also highlight a Foundation in North Staffordshire which is actively pursuing partnerships with the health sector in the West Midlands.
We now have a more accessible version of this e-bulletin available, for those of you who may find the format difficult to read. Just send us an email (you don’t have to write anything) and we’ll send it straight to you.
Some of you will have noticed on the main praXis website that we have introduced a ‘News Update’ section. Be sure to visit regularly and keep your eye on these changing bulletins, which will profile the newest developments in arts and health.

VISIONS OF REALITY
On Thursday 29th April ‘Arts and Health: Visions of Reality’ was held at Staffordshire University. This successful event brought together some of the most experienced arts and health workers in the country. Over 100 people attended and joined the panel in a thought-provoking debate. Read the panels’ visions for the future, answers to questions and project presentations here. Keep watching the website, as we will be putting some video footage from the event on there soon! As with all events of this nature however, not everything could be covered and we want to continue the debate. So do please let us know your thoughts and comments.
