Smoke Free Children
A series of creative projects are being developed to help reduce children’s exposure to smoke. The first project involved children in producing an interactive DVD which will be used by schools to engage children in conversation about smoke free space in the home. Paul Hine and Gino Evans have been commissioned to undertake the work.

Dudley KickAsh
Kick Ash aims to encourage young people to be free from tobacco smoke and participate in activities in 'smoke-free' environments. Developed by NHS Dudley in partnership with Dudley Youth Services, young people living in the Dudley Borough have the opportunity to submit ideas for a project and apply for a small grant, which they will use to support an activity that takes place in a smoke free environment.

Sex/Relationships Education
The Respect Yourself Campaign at NHS Dudley is working with Urban Voice to develop a combined arts project in partnership with young people. The project aims to raise awareness of how to manage risky behaviours and support young people to realise that they can make positive choices. Teachers will then be supported to use the resources, which emerge from the project to facilitate a discussion about these sensitive issues.
