Warwickshire praXis Seminar
This was a great event held at the SYDNI Centre, Leamington Spa, when almost 40 people attended on a very beautiful sunny day in June 2009. They gave up the sunshine to come and participate in a morning where they talked about and reflected on their own practice.
The morning was split into 'reflecting', 'developing' and 'prioritising' arts and health. Participants had the opportunity to hear about each others’ work, network and discuss what the poeple of the Warwickshire, Solihull and Coventry subregion need to develop a sustainable arts and health infrastructure.
The morning was full of practical exercises, as well as hearing from keynote speakers from Cannock Chase District Council and Warwickshire County Council, as well as participating in a Silhouette Dance Company workshop.
It finished with a wonderful lunch, where delegates were able to mingle, chat and swap details.
